Meet Tiare

The Good Sorts at Good Sorts is a series that brings our people out from behind the scenes and into the spotlight.

In the spotlight this week is Tiare Moors. Tiare recently moved from New Zealand to Kelowna to be closer to her family in the Okanagan. Tiare joined the team at Good Sorts to take on the role of Operations Manager. We sat down with Tiare to learn more about her story.

What brought you to Kelowna?

I decided to move to Kelowna to be closer to my family, the mountains and the lakes. It’s such a charming town with so much to offer, I can’t wait to explore the Okanagan and start this next chapter. 

Tell us more about where you grew up.

I grew up in Mangawhai, which is a small beach town on the North Island of New Zealand. I loved being close to the water, my friends and out in nature. I moved to the city for University and career opportunities but this will be my first time living overseas. 

What professional experience do you bring to Good Sorts?

My professional background is in Advertising. I have five years of agency experience and have most recently worked as a Senior Media Planner. In this role, I developed comprehensive media recommendations that supported the client brief, communication and channel strategy. While Operations is a different playing field, so many of my skills are transferrable and I am really excited for this new challenge and to immerse myself in the Property Service industry.

What sorts of things do you get up to in your spare time?

I’m happiest outdoors so you can usually find me hiking, mountain biking or snowboarding.

If you could choose, what country would you take a trip to visit?

I am dying to go to Greece and Croatia, they are next on my travel list for sure.
