Meet Faith

The Good Sorts at Good Sorts is a series that brings our people out from behind the scenes and into the spotlight.
Meet Faith Hinds, our Operations Coordinator. A proud Okanagan local, Faith grew up in Peachland and brings a background in post-secondary administration and a love of people-driven work to the Good Sorts team.
Whether she’s keeping operations running smoothly in the office or heading down to the lake after work, Faith brings calm, steady energy wherever she goes.
We caught up with Faith to talk Peachland beaches, aerial dance classes, North End hidden gems, and why eggnog season can’t come soon enough.
Where did you grow up, and what’s one thing you miss (or don’t!) about it?
I grew up in Peachland and moved to Kelowna a few years ago.
In my opinion, Peachland has the best beach access of any community in the Okanagan. That said, my home in Kelowna is actually closer to the beach than my childhood home was, so I’m not complaining!
Before joining Good Sorts, what kind of work or experiences shaped your path?
Before Good Sorts, I worked mainly in post-secondary administration at colleges and universities across B.C. and beyond, including in partnership with Interior Health.
Being so close to post-secondary education and career planning was a great way to explore all kinds of career paths and niche work environments. It also showed me that people-driven services, customer relations and the trades are expected to be huge growth areas in British Columbia.
What’s your favourite memory or moment with the Good Sorts crew so far?
Taking part in the Motionball 2026 fundraiser with the team.
The weather was perfect for spending the day outside, and we got to compete against some truly exceptional Special Olympics athletes. It was great to hang out with the team and support the community outside the office.
When you’re off the clock, what activities or hobbies do you enjoy most?
Before or after work, you can find me at the beach, all year round. The lakeshore has always been my go-to place to unwind.
When I’m not at the beach, I’m usually taking a local dance or aerials class, or practising for the next Vespera show here in Kelowna!
What’s your favourite local spot to eat, unwind, or spend time with friends?
The hole-in-the-wall restaurants and cafés in Kelowna’s North End.
We like to rotate between them because each one has something new to offer every visit. They’re a short walk from my house, we get to support local, and the rotating menus always give us something new and exciting to try!
What’s your favourite drink? (morning coffee, evening cocktail, or anything in between!)
With the holidays around the corner, it’s almost eggnog latte season!
Or rum and eggnog over ice with a touch of ground nutmeg. If eggnog weren’t seasonal, I’d happily drink it year-round.
