Meet Simone

The Good Sorts at Good Sorts is a series that brings our people out from behind the scenes and into the spotlight.

In the spotlight this week is Simone Fritz. A British Columbia-born, country girl living in the big city and having moved to Kelowna in Fall 2020. Simone is now the Operations Coordinator here at Good Sorts. We sat down with Simone to learn more about her story.

What brought you to Kelowna?

I was born in Vernon but have lived all over Western Canada and the United States. After living a few years in Saskatchewan, the mountains were calling my name! And here we are.

What professional experience do you bring to Good Sorts?

I have worked for the past 10-plus years for Government and Provincial corporations in administration and technical support roles. I also have a background in project management and environmental science.

What sorts of things do you get up to in your spare time?

I love playing any sport. My favourites are beach volleyball in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.

If you could choose, what country would you take a trip to visit?

I want to visit Argentina. I grew up raising cattle. Argentina’s ranching industry is amazing and I’d like to see how different that environment is from Canada.
